• Delegates will be received at the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam (SSR) International Airport upon their arrival.
  • Ministers will be welcomed in the VIP Lounge.
  • Other delegates will proceed through the normal arrival lounge.
  • Dedicated fast track immigration counters will be operating at the main terminal during the conference to facilitate delegates.
  • A reception desk located after custom control outside the main terminal arrival will be available during the conference to provide assistance with respect to transport, accommodation and currency exchange upon arrival and departure.
  • Delegates should indicate their flight details including their time of arrival and departure to the Secretariat by filling in and submitting the Registration form, by the end of April 2018.

Delegates traveling to Mauritius must possess a valid passport or relevant travel documents and a valid return ticket.
Visa facilities will be granted to participants on arrival at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, Mauritius, provided that particulars such as names, passport numbers and flight details are communicated to the Secretariat by 30 April 2018. Delegates coming from countries which require visas prior to their travel to Mauritius should contact the relevant Embassy of Mauritius at the soonest for necessary arrangements. The host Government will provide the following transportation facilities to delegates for transfers to and from airport as well as for conveyance to and from Conference venue:

  • Ministers will be provided with a police driven car
  • Other Delegates 

           Dedicated shuttle buses will circulate between the airport and Le Meridien Ile Maurice Hotel.

Any query should be directed to the Secretariat at the Conference Centre/Officer responsible for transport arrangements.
No refund will be made to delegates making their own transport arrangements.

Ministers will be provided with free board and lodging, excluding telephone calls, laundry and bar service.
Other delegates will be personally responsible for their booking of hotels and settlement of their hotels bills including telephone calls (local and international), Laundry and bar services.



Liaison Officers are assigned to each delegation. Delegates should address any request for assistance through their respective liaison officer during the Conference.



Delegates will be issued with an official accreditation pass. Passes must be presented to the Security Agent while entering the secure venues and must be displayed prominently at all times.

Delegation details, including passport size photos must be submitted to the secretariat not later than 30 April 2018.

Any loss of passes should be immediately reported to the local Secretariat at the Conference venue.



The Ministry of Health and Quality of life will be responsible for the coordination and the provision of medical facilities during the Conference.

Free and full medical treatment is available in all hospitals and health centres of Mauritius.

Special medical facilities will be available at the Conference venue.
